Good News | LivzonDx’s Monkeypox Virus Detection Product Attains CE Mark
Time:2022-06-09
As notified by the World Health Organization (WHO) on June 8, within just one month (May 13 to June 8), 29 non-endemic countries and regions had reported over 1,000 confirmed monkeypox cases to WHO. Since the first monkeypox case was detected in the UK in early May, the virus has spread rapidly across non-endemic territories, with Europe bearing the brunt of the outbreak.

Faced with the sudden global monkeypox outbreak, LivzonDx acted fast in research and development. Our self-developed Monkeypox Virus Nucleic Acid Detection Kit (Fluorescent Probe PCR Method) has obtained CE certification for market access in the EU.

Products bearing the CE mark can be marketed and sold across all 27 EU Member States, as well as in other countries and regions that recognize EU CE certification, delivering reliable testing evidence for the prevention, control, diagnosis and treatment of monkeypox virus infections.
The rapid development of this monkeypox detection kit is backed by LivzonDx's well-established R&D capabilities. The launch of this product further enriches our comprehensive product portfolio and accelerates our global market expansion.
